There are of course endless different ways to create wealth, but today I'm going to discuss two simple steps you can take to start increasing your income and slowly becoming more wealthy.

Many of the world's wealthiest people will have followed these two steps from an early age, and will have been reaping the rewards ever since.

So what are they?

Well the first step is to find out what you are good at. Get a notebook and list all your talents. What kind of things do you excel in? Are there things you are good at, but could become even better at with a bit of practice? Have a brainstorming session until you have a sizeable list of talents.

Every single person has talents in certain areas and they either take full advantage of these talents or they go undiscovered and remain hidden, so really think hard about the kind of things you are good at.

The second step is to find a way of harnessing these talents to make a good income and hopefully generate wealth for you and your family.

Most of the wealthiest people in the world got rich from working for themselves and building up their own businesses so if you can use these talents to create your own business even better, as your potential income opportunities are unlimited.

My own story is similar to this because I knew from my years at school that my strongest subjects were mathematics and business studies, so therefore I went to university and studied Accounting and Finance.

As it turns out I struggled to get a job as an Accountant after graduating, but still wanted to use these talents to make money so I started trading the financial markets and trading the FTSE market on the betting exchanges, and found I was extremely good at it.

In fact it really changed my life and set me up financially, so the point I want to make is that if you want to make a good living and actually enjoy what you are doing, then make full use of your talents and find a way of harnessing these talents to generate wealth.

You may actually discover new talents that you didn't know you had.

For example, a few years ago I didn't have a clue about creating and running websites, but now I have a whole network of profitable websites which provide me with a nice income every month. Once I started learning more and more I discovered I was actually quite good at it and now friends of mine actually come to me if they want help with their own websites.

So keep striving to discover your own talents because they can potentially provide you with an excellent way of making more money.
